Now, on with the podcast!
When I was a child, the most important person in my life was my grandmother. Hers were the hands that bathed me, that put oil on my body, that buttoned the top button at the neck of my pajamas so that I would sleep warm, and that gave me those all-important slices of white bread during the day when I was hungry for a snack.
I didn’t realize it then, but now I understand that everything that concerned me, revolved around her. She was the most loving person I knew; and as it has turned out so far, she has been the most loving person I have ever known. She was a Christian woman, and she introduced me to God. She’s gone now, and I miss her.
